'Wrestlers At The Trials' is a powerful collection of stories - told by 90 remarkable wrestlers, coaches and officials - as the world-class athletes give their all trying to make their dream come true - winning a spot on the US Olympic Wrestling team.

From Terry McCann and Dave Auble in 1960 to Kenny Monday and Mark Schultz in 1988, you will read first-hand "no holds barred" accounts from the competitors themselves - training for and participating in three decades of Olympic Wrestling Trials. Most of these stories have never before been published.

The author has organized the 196-page hard-cover book chronologically with stories and photos from each Olympic year contained within its own chapter. There is even a separate chapter - 1984 Addendum - with revealing episodes as told by the key participants (Lewis, Smith, Dellagatta, Gable, Combs, Tucci and Strobel) in the infamous 136.5 pound class controversy.

As you turn the pages of this book , you will be right back there with the wrestlers - at their Trials......
